Friendly ghosts haunt the Colonel Taylor Inn. Built in 1878 for Colonel Joseph Taylor, the inn now hosts guests in four floral-themed rooms. The spirits have been known to shake guests’ beds, but nothing sinister ever seems to be afoot. Most likely, the haunts at this inn are Col. Taylor and his wife continuing to reside in their beloved home, keeping a watchful eye on the comings and goings of their earthly abode.
If you’re lucky, even though the inn is smoke-free, you might catch a whiff of the Colonel’s pipe smoke.
